Judy Almore's King's Party won four seats in the 2007 Congress, taking the lead after four years of F1 dominance

The 2007 Congress was the Lovian federal legislature from February 1st 2007 to January 31st 2008, elected in the Federal Elections, 2007. It was marked by a loss of popularity of Freedom First, which had lost four seats to the King's Party and minor parties.

For the first time, Rick Frances and his party did not win the Congressional elections. Judy Almore from the King's Party became Lovia's new Prime Minister. They went into a difficult government coalition with the Freedom First party, who agreed to passing the bill if they could preserve most of their policies from the previous years.

Members[]

Lost their seats: Jake Kubrick (F1) and William Trumbel III (F1). Pierlot McCrooke (F1) and Lambert Cooper (F1) stood down, and Paul Halldane (F1) had resigned during the previous term.

Won a seat: August Magnus Donia (LCP), Ben Roosevelt (RA), Maggie Bell (F1), Connie Brown (KP), and Lars Washington (KP).

King Arthur's seat was left unoccupied when he deceased in August 2007. His seat would only be taken up in November, at King Dimitri's coronation.

Nick Rodinsky (RA) and Ben Roosevelt (RA) boycotted the remainder of the term after Dimitri I ascended in protest of his coronation, and vowed to boycott the upcoming elections.
