The 2014 Provisional Congress is the current Congress of Lovia. It was elected during the abbreviated Special Elections of July 2014, and is made up of representatives from the CNP, UL, CCPL, PL, LUS, and GP, as well as two independent congresspeople. The Provisional Congress's executive branch is the Hoffmann I Government, under Prime Minister Lukas Hoffmann.
History[]
The Congress was inaugurated on August 1, 2014, and is currently serving. There was never any successful legislation in the 2014 Provisional Congress, as it mostly served as a caretaker while a constitutional convention occurred, and it became inactive itself to some extent.
The 2014 Provisional Congress is notable for the re-emergence of Positive Lovia under Dirk Brandt, as well as the appearance of the Republican Initiative under Aina Sarria and the Lovian Unionist Syndicate under Jason Rogers.
