Avrohom Spall (May 9, 1977) is a Lovian rabbi and writer. He is a prominent member of the Lovian Judaism Brotherhood and is the current Chief Rabbi of Canterbury Synagogue.

Biography[]

Avrohom was born in a large family, the second of six children. Both his parents were very strict and faithful Jews, whose ancestors originated mainly from Ukraine and Poland. In his youth, Avrohom frequently went to the City Temple, despite the distance. In 1997, he visited Jerusalem and decided to settle in Israel. He was ordained as a rabbi and in 2005 he returned to Lovia.

Avrohom befriended Frank Villanova, a venerable rabbi and Holocaust survivor, as well as William Goodwin. He soon became an activist on behalf of the Jewish population, mainly campaigning for the construction of more synagogues. In 2006 he wrote his first book, a study on the Torah. The very next year he married Rebecca Wonton, also Jewish, an American-Lovian civil servant.

Avrohom was among the first members of the Lovian Judaism Brotherhood and became the Chief Rabbi of Canterbury Synagogue. During the Lovian Civil War, he tried to protect the temple from vandalism and thus was threatened by some anti-Semitic gangs.

Religion views[]

Although Avrohom is a conservative Jew, he has been always shown religious tolerance. He was instrumental in the meetings between Ellis Sobol and Ali Suleimani. Moreover, he is known to socialize with many non-Jews, especially Christians. He stated in 2010: "No matter that we believe in a different god. We shall all live in peace and harmony".
