View of the Bay of Estonia
The Bay of Estonia is a water feature on Philosopher's Island.
The hamlet of Novosevensk is built around it, and the name originates from a Estonian inhabitant of Novosevensk who named it after his homeland.
The bay is very sheltered and is therefore used as a harbor for boats. The bay is also a large fishing base and is home to many fishermen, most of whom work for the Brandt Fishing Corporation, which has a large presence in Novosevensk.
