Black Ops IV: Jungle Madness is the fourth installment in the original Black Ops series. It is the only one not to feature Paul Seranne as the protagonist. The film was released in 1991.
It was successful at the box office and got a hard PG-13 rating due to the violence.
Plot[]
The film follows Sgt. Avery (Phil Martinez) and Unit 56, a secret hit squad of the Lovian Secret Service. Unit 56's mission: to sneak into the Caribbean island nation of San Cruz and kill its dictator, General Gomez. It is not as easy as it seems and they must fight his loyal soldiers down to the last moment in order to kill the general.
Reception[]
When the film was announced, many critics were quick to state that the plot would be about Unit 56 being dropped in a jungle region, they would have to fight many obstacles in order to kill/capture their objective, and at the end there would be a massive fight where the enemy would be killed. Despite receiving mixed reviews it proved popular at the Lovian box office.
The film was the debut of American-Lovian actor and politician Matt Richards, who appears in an uncredited role as a background extra.
