The Brandt Fishing Corporation, PLC, recently rebranded as BrandtFishCorp, abbreviated as BFC, is a large Lovian fishing company based out of Beaverwick, Kings.
One of the older companies on Kings Island, dating back to the first generation of Brandts, the Brandt Fishing Corporation is also one of the largest fishing companies in the Lovia Archipelago.
BrandtFishCorp is also one of the largest sea-based companies in Lovia. The corporation has close ties with LovOilCo, which is also largely owned by the Brandts (Dirk and Russell).
33.3% of the company is traded on the Noble City Stock Exchange, with the remaining 66.7% is held by Russell Brandt.

The story of the Brandt Fishing Corporation dates back to mid-ninteenth century, Pomerania. Early ancestors of the Brandt family lived off of pike fishing in the Baltic Sea. This tradition had carried from father to son for many generations until many Pomeranians began to leave their native country for the new world.
The youngest son of Fabian Brandt, Albrecht Brandt, was one of the many Pomeranians who left for the new world, and he established himself as a fisher of cod in Newfoundland.
Without adequate experience in cod fishing, Albrecht decided to move to the Pacific Northwest, where he had heard pike lived in abundance. Brandt spent some time in Canada, but eventually relocated to Kings, Lovia, where he had heard many Germans were starting to relocate.

Due to the history as a corporation composed of various independent fishers under one brand-name, a large number of BrandtFishCorp employees are in fact franchisees who sell their catches to the company, who then market the fish on behalf of the fishermen.
