Bytack (IPA: /'baɪ̯tæk/ or /'bʌtæk/; Oceana: /'bʌt̪akˠ/; Slovak: Bytak, IPA: /'bytak/) is a Lovian hamlet in the state of Oceana, in the Southern Wine Region district. Bytack is located in the Central Hill Land near Topolcane and lies a few miles east of Westwall.

A house presently serves as the meeting place of the First Church of Jesus Christ, Bytacker.

Demographics

Of the 1,139 inhabitants of the Southern Wine Region district, 250 live in Bytack. According to the 2014 census, the racial make-up of Bytack was 250 white (100%); ethnically there were 177 Oceana (70,8%), 49 Slovaks (19,6%), 18 Lovians (7,2%), and 6 Russians (2,4%). The first-language distribution was recorded as 211 English (84,4%), 22 Slovak (8,8%), 11 Oceana (4,4%), and 6 Russian (2,4%). The distribution of religious affiliations was 193 Roman Catholic (77,2%), 6 other Orthodox-Christian (2,4%), 4 United Protestant (1,6%), and 47 with no religious affiliation (18,8%).

Environment

Bytack is located in the Oceana Wine Region, south of the Carlton Forests. On the hillside, vineyards are a common feature of the landscape. The center of the built-up area is located at approximately 140 meters high.

Of the 693 functioning registrated buildings in Bytack, 156 have a residential designation, 247 are stalls, sheds or workhouses, 36 have a religious designation, 40 are shops or services buildings, 38 are governmental buildings, and 176 are undefined.

Economy

Most of the inhabitants of Bytack are employed in forestry or the agricultural sector. According to the 2013 census, the working population is 153 (64,3%), of which 68 have no registrated jobs (44,4%) and 2 are unemployed (1,3%).
