Clarence James Shea (born 23 December, 1960) is a Lovian businessman, best known as the CEO of the Veloz Group.
Shea established the Veloz Group in 2009, and it has since become a major company with interests in retail, travel and entertainment. Although Shea and his family are originally from Lovia, they currently reside in Cettatie.
Biography[]
Clarence James Shea was born in Transcity, Noble City on the 23rd December 1962 to Janine and Marcus Shea, who had just moved to Lovia from North Carolina, USA. His family were not well off, and his father worked as a bus driver and his mother as a secretary at an airline reservation office.
His parents seperated when he was 9, and he briefly returned to Charlotte, North Carolina to live with his mother and his grandparents. However, his grandfather later managed to save up for Clarence to attend university in Lovia, and Clarence graduated from Nobel University in 1981, majoring in Business Management.
Shea then set up a small shoe store in Noble City with his good friend, and fashion designer, Tony Vossen. The store was a mild success, and Shea also worked in several hotels and restaurants in the city to gain business experience.
By 1990, Shea had married and had three children, whilst continuing to be successful in his business. In 1996, he established Veloz Megastores, the first subsidiary of the Veloz Group, which was founded in 2002 after the formation of Veloz Health Clubs.
In 2013, Shea decided to expand his business, with plans to set up holiday and restaurant companies, both in Lovia and Brunant
Personal life[]
Clarence married his long time girlfriend, Lola, in 1982. They have three children, Benjamin (born 1983), Taylor (born 1986) and Giselle (born 1990). Benjamin is an executive at the Veloz Group, whilst Taylor is an actress and model and Giselle is a singer
Between 2008 and 2014 Shea and his family resided in a mansion in Milerose, Clymene. Due to its size and opulence, sections of the press referred to the house as the "Shea Mansion". Since 2014, Shea and his family have lived in Quartier Marenco, Cettatie.
