The Lovian Department of Energy and Environment, abbreviated DEE, was a Lovian federal department responsible for Lovian energy policy, nuclear safety, environment and nature policy. The department was founded in 2008. It was merged with the Department of Transportation in February 2010. After the 2010 Mid-Terms, it was split again to keep the government in balance. The Secretary of Energy and Environment had been Justin Abrahams since February 1st, 2010. In 2012, the department was jointly replaced by the Ministry of Energy and Resources and Ministry of Environment.

The department was not in favor of monopolizing energy for the state. They however wanted to partially fund-and-own private companies in order to better assist them in providing electricity and power to Lovians.
Projects[]
- Provide funding to companies for the setup of wind farms, solar panel arrays and other green energies to reduce our dependance on non-renewable sources
- Provide grants so that auto companies and universities may work on developing greener cars (electric, solar, hydrogenm, hybrid)

National Park Service[]
Main article: National Park Service.
The Secretary of Energy and Environment directly managed the Lovian National Park Service. They appointed the chairman-or-woman to head the service. Presently there are five national parks.
