La Blaca in March 2011
Fascism in Lovia has been a marginal movement in the nation's history. In the early 1900s the Flintist Party incorporated some fascist ideas, but died after after the fall of Nazi Germany in World War II. Only in early 2010, a brief revival of fascist values and politics existed. The Iron Guard Party, founded by Dietrich Honecker and then led by Pierlot McCrooke, Drabo Doorian and Hessel Doorian, and supported by August Magnus Donia and Brenda Young, is considered to have been fascist. In the recent The People v. IGP Trial the IGP and its leader Hessel Doorian are accused of anti-democratic behavior and racism.
There are no fascists or far-rightists in the Lovian Congress. A well known fascist publication was Doorian senior's book Our Eternal Enemy written and published in 2010, a very controversial racist book. A new trial against several nazi's is planned for 2010.
In 2011 I. G. La Blaca joined the UNS to represent it in congress as a member of the 2011 Provisional Congress. His appointment as part of the Congress was considered the comeback of the far-right in Lovia in a time in which communism was stronger then ever. Despite La Blaca's appointment and subsequent re-election along with six other UNS members in the 2011 Special Federal Elections, two thirds of all major UNS members including La Blaca would be killed or arrested in the Lovian Civil War.
The loss of members and unpopularity of the UNS following the conclusion of the war would result in them winning 0 seats in the 2012 Federal Elections. Shortly after the crippling electoral defeat, the UNS disbanded. Since the disbandment of the UNS, there has not been a fascist party in Lovia, although some Members of the Congress have publically sympathized with fascist views.
