Ferdi Berghop (born 1971) is a veteran Lovian forward who plays for Contra United and the Lovian National Soccer Team. He is a very generous person and is founder of the Ferdi Berghop Foundation which helps kids of the streets and lets them play in soccer camps and leagues, where alot of players from the orginization later play on his team. Berghop initially played in Libertas where he gained a legendary repuation as the topscorer of the 2009 competition. Moving to Lovia in early 2010, Berghop became the topscorer in the Lovian competition aswell. He is generally considered one of the best Lovian footballers ever.
Not much is known about his personal life as he guards his family well and is very secretive about it. Berghop is seen by many as a rather mysterious figure.
