German cultural expressions and people in Lovia are mostly concentrated in the Cape Donald region of northern Kings and the Train Village Plains region of central Sylvania and East Sylvania. Most Germans within Lovia are descended from immigrants who came and settled in Lovia in the original waves of immigration, though there is also significant recent immigration. The majority of German descended Lovians are Protestant, though there are many Catholic or irreligious Germans as well. Approximately 8,4% of Sylvania residents and 11,3% of Kings residents are at least one half German.

Language[]

The German language is a common first language among Kings (9,1%) and Sylvania (6,7%) residents, and a common second or third language among all Lovians. It is typically spoken at home.

Food[]

German food is served at various locations in large settlements, especially in Noble City and Newhaven. Non-Germans also enjoy German food at restaurants. Perhaps the most well-known German restaurant is Ingolstadt, in Charleston.

Names[]

Various German given names are common, but surnames typically include a "-burg" or other suffix.
