- For other meanings of the word hexacode: see hexacode on Wikipedia.
A hexacode is a type of six-digit postal code only used in Lovia. It consists of the state code (for example "SY" for Sylvania), the district code (e.g. "NC") and the neighborhood or settlement code (e.g. "BS"), rendering SY-NC-BS (Bayside, Noble City).
Part I: The State code[]
There are five state codes, consisting of two letters. There are two ways to refer to a state using a hexacode: by using only the state abbreviation, or by adding the double placeholder "-01-01". For example, when referring to the state of Oceana, one could use either "OC" or "OC-01-01".
Code | State |
---|---|
CL | ![]() |
KI | ![]() |
OC | ![]() |
SE | ![]() |
SY | ![]() |
Part II: The District Code[]
The second part of the code is the district code, consisting of an additional two letters attached to the state code. The state the district lies in determines the state code. Again, one can refer to a district using the state-district compound, or by adding the single placeholder "01". For example, when referring to the urban district/city of Hurbanova, one can use either "OC-HU" or "OC-HU-01".
There are two types of districts: urban districts and rural districts. Urban districts encompass one single village, town or city. Rural districts encompass one or more hamlets. When referring to a village, town or city without the intention of referring to the urban district it is part of, one can still use the hexacode that refers to the district in question.
Code | State | Status |
---|---|---|
HU | ![]() |
Town |
KY | ![]() |
Town |
NC | ![]() |
City |
NH | ![]() |
City |
PL | ![]() |
Town |
SO | ![]() |

TV | ![]() |

Part III: The Neighborhood-Hamlet code[]
Finally, one can specify the neighborhood or hamlet within the district by adding a neighborhood-hamlet suffix consisting of again two letters. For example, when referring to Drake Town, a neighborhood in the Hurbanova urban district, in the state of Oceana, the hexacode "OC-HU-DR" is used.
The full code[]
The full code for a neighborhood is [State code]-[District code]-[Neighborhood-hamlet code]. For example: the code of the Trading Quarter is: SY-NC-TQ.
When used in an address, the template 'hexa' can be used. Type {{hexa|SY-NC-01}}
and this will appear: (SY-NC-01)
