Jamal Hustróva of Smoleniče (Smoleniče, Octobre 6, 1806 - Smoleniče, 9 May 1899) was the ancestor of the Hustróva family, and one of the first Slovak immigrants to Lovia. Throughout his life he suffered from depression, having 7 wives, who all left him. He died lonely at the age of 93, despite his lifelong tobacco addiction, survived by only two of his eight sons. He was the father of Jamal Andru Saborca Hustróva and Andru Hustróva.
Life[]
Hustróva was one of fourteen grandsons of one Habel Hustróva's seven daughters. When he was young he was interested in learning English because Britain was a leading country in industry. When he grew older he decided that he in fact wanted to become a farmer. He married Hradcina Volgar in 1827, but she ran away with her child two years later. Over the course of his life he would marry six other women but they all left him. He had eight sons in total. In beginning of 1882, after a famine in Slovakia, he moved to Lovia and started his own farm. He was already 75 then. He spent his last 3 years in Slovakia where he also died. Many of his children also stayed in Lovia.
