Landmark Group

The Landmark Group is a Lovian business that owns, operates and preserves old restaurants, hotels and establishments. It was established in the 1900s by Sir George Coningham and his family.

History

Landmark Hotels

The Landmark Groups origins come from the hotel industry. In 1884, the first Lovian hotel, The Landmark Hotel, was opened in Noble City by Sir George Coningham. He also opened up the Olympia Hotel and Theater in 1890 and the Hotel King Arthur in 1900. He merged these hotels into the Landmark Group. In 1913, Silvia Coningham (his daughter) and her husband opened up a second Landmark, the The Landmark Hurbanova. With the money coming in, Silvia was able to open a third hotel, the Landmark Hotel McKinley in 1918.

Landmark Group

The present Landmark Group was founded in 1945 when Landmark hotels purchased Der Schwarze Hund in Landwirtschaft and The Fat Cat bar. SInce then, they have acquired other important and historic places.
