The Lovian states have their own symbols, of which some are very obvious like seals or flags.

Flags[]

State Flag Comments, symbols
Clymene The flag's red and white stripes represent the 1889 Unity Flag of Clymene, a symbol of early Clymene autonomy and republicanism. The north star on the canton is a symbol of the northernmost state and features on the state seal, representing the state within Lovia.
Kings The flag of Kings is very much like the state's seal and represents the nature on Kings Island. The state's name is inscribed central on the upper part of the flag. On the lower part Kings' motto is written: surrounded by nature.
Oceana One vertical third of the flag, on the hoist side, is a vertical triband. The navy and the white stand for Lovia, while the dark red represents the Hurbanovan/Oceana culture. The fly part of the flag is colored light blue, the state's color. There is an emblem in the center of this part: a copy of the Oceana seal, that differs little from the original one.
Seven The flag of Seven is divided in three fesses, of which the outer are in the state's official color, dark turquoise. The emblem in the center is cream and seems to form a whole with the central fess. In the emblem, the seven islands are depicted. The flag ressembles Kinley symbols very much.
Sylvania The flag of Sylvania is divided into three pales with the center pale being navy blue field, the official color and one of the national colors, and the hoist and fly pale being dark green. A ring of white oak leaves are in the center of the flag, these represent the unity of Sylvania and use the official symbol of an oak leaf.

State Seal Comments, symbols
Clymene The Clymene seal depicts a nude nymph, as a representation of the nymph Clymene or Asia. This image is thought to be taken from an old version of the Odyssey. The nymph Clymene is the state's most important symbol and is linked to Asian Island. Again, the official colors blue, red and yellow have been used. The name of the state is inscribed in a large font.
Kings The seal is in fact the round version of the Kings flag. The state's name is inscribed central on the upper part of the flag, and on the lower part Kings motto: surrounded by nature.
Oceana The seal of Oceana is bordered by thin black lines and a wide light blue border. Then there is a tricolor border, in navy, white and darkred. The central field is navy blue. The upper side is filled by an image representing the rural life in Oceana. The central part is covered by the state's name and underneath that name the Lovian pine tree is depicted in light blue.
Seven Seven's seal uses the same colors as the state's flag and the Kinley symbols, most dominantly dark turquoise. The nickname Island State is located underneath the state's name and above the depiction of the seven islands.
Sylvania The Sylvania seal is bordered by a navy blue stroke, with little dark green borderlines. The inside of the circle represents the natural environment of the state, probably the place where the Beaver River leaves the Emerald Highlands. In the sky the name Sylvania is written in navy, and in the water one of the state's nicknames the Peaceful State.
