Lovians for Animal Welfare, abbreviated LFAW, is a non-profit organizational program founded by Liz West and funded entirely by her wealthy ex-boyfriend Christopher Costello. The program was recently founded in June of 2010, and is one of Lovia's largest non-profit organizations that are currently active.

Background[]

According to Christopher Costello, LFAW was founded out of a "short, yet spectacular romance" with Liz West. West's love for animals inspired the short-lived couple to co-found the organization, with Costello supporting the program by donating large sums of cash monthly.

After the two's break-up, Christopher Costello would remove himself his title as co-founder, and resign from his office as the program's primary authority, leaving his ex in total charge of all operations. The organization is still active and more lively than it has been in the past, rescuing and providing a home for thousands of pets of all varieties.

While the organization does not form its own independent animal shelters, instead, it lightens the each pre-existent shelter's burden, paying the fee necessary to support the lives of each enlisted animal. In doing this, it enforces the policy that no animal should unjustly be put to death. Statistics show the substantial success rate of LFAW, and the program is favored by the Lovian government.
