Macochet, referred to by some as either Outdoor macochet, Indoor macochet and Macochet-X, is a bat-and-ball game of Lovian origin played between two teams of 10 players each on a field at the centre of which is a rectangular 22-yard long pitch. The game was pribaly named after cricket players Thomas Mackett and Frank Rochet the first players organizing a game

- 2 ways to score for the offensive team
- Runs are socred by batting the ball in the fair territory without having a fielder catching a fly ball
- Batting points points are awarded when one of the following happens:
- A runner catches a fly ball. If it happens 3 times he may appoint a extra runner
- A batter bats a ball over the fence when not near it
- Batter hits fast ball
- A run is on a path between 2 posts with are marked with circle dirt
- The batter can be put out by batting thje ball in foul territory, by missing the ball when batting, when having a fly ball catched by a fielder, when the ball is
- A penalty run is awarded when a defensive team commits too much fouls
- The ball in fair territory is declared foul if it strikes aginst the end stumps. The runner and the batter are out, Defensive team gains one point
- A ball that reaches a post without a runner will count as a undecided ball and will need to be batted again
- Defensive points are awarded for fly balls catching , stumping and making a out

- Hitting the ball twice
- Standing on runners path
- Hitting the ball with your hands
- Not releasing the ball after catching
