Maxifuel station

Maxi is a supermarket chain found throughout Lovia. There are currently sixteen stores across the country. Maxi operates the Maxicard credit card and points program for its customers. It's owned by the Brunant-based Maxi Group.

History

Maxi originally Super 5 Market originally started as a fruit stand in the Hurbanova Trh (Hurbanova Market). It was founded in 1927 by the Ramsley Family. They later opened one store (located in 14 Vlackstreet Hurbanova). In 1933, it ws incorporated into Federal Foods Inc. In 1951, five markets had open and were renamed Super 5 Markets. Most expansion occured in the 1970s due to increasing population. In 2011 Super 5 was sold to Maxi Group of Brunant. A large reorganization occurred, where several stores were closed down and others were expanded.

Store Information

Most stores are open from 8:30 to 22:00. However, some stores open at 7:30 or 8:00, and some close at 21:00.

Maxifuel

Maxifuel is a gasoline station operated beside some Maxi supermarkets. The gas stations are open for anyone to use but Maxicard members get discounts at the pump.

Maxibank

Maxibank is a bank and financial service offered by Maxi supermarkets in most of its supermarkets. Maxi was the first Brunanter supermarket to open a bank, commencing trading in July 2004. It is a joint venture between Maxi and SD Bank and has become highly profitable for both. Presently around 6000 people have an account with Maxibank.

Maxibank Lovia

Maxibank began operations in Lovia in March 2012 with the opening of three banks in its supermarkets. Maxibank partnered with the First National Bank (SD Bank's Lovian partner). The bank's services include insurance, credit cards, savings and loans and its customers can also deposit/withdraw cash from FNB ATM's.
