McGullan Farm is a farm in Pines, Newhaven.
History[]

Cucumber harvesting on McGullan Farm, 1910
The farm was built in 1899 by Irish immigrant Seamus McGullan. At that time Newhaven was still very small and consisted only of the Old Port and Downtown Newhaven. There was therefore a lot of free land available and McGullan's farm originally covered most of the area where Pines is now. In those days most of the farming was pastoral, although McGullan grew some crops as well.
McGullan and the later owners of the farm grew very prosperous, as they were able to supply the entire population of Newhaven. As the city expanded, they were also able to make money by selling their land to property developers.
The old farmhouse
The current farmer, Seamus McGullan IV, has now turned to market gardening as a source of income, growing mainly fuit and flowers, as he is able to make a larger profit from those crops. He also works as the head botanist in the newly created King Lucas Park, due to his knowledge of plants and love of botany inherited from his father, Seamus McGullan III, who brought a large number of rare plants to Lovia and Newhaven in particular.
