Merrimack is a Lovian hamlet in the state of Seven. Merrimack is located on British Island, north of the neighboring Long Brook. The village was founded in 1908 by American settlers, who named it after the town of Merrimack, New Hampshire.
Merrimack is the largest settlement on any of the northern five islands of Seven. As such, it has played an important role in defining the rural culture of the northern part of the state. The villagers pride themselves on an independent way of life and often look down on the urban dwellers of Kinley (Southerners) and the Novosevenskians ('Ruskies'), seeing themselves as the only true Seveners.
