Nicomedia III: Full House 2120-2199 is a Lovian alternative history fiction novel by Percival E. Galahad. It narrates the history of the Empire of Nicomedia after the disappearance of Fatih of Nicomedia, and is the third novel of the Nicomedia series. Full House was published in 2004.

Story[]

After the mysterious and suspicious disappearance of Emperor Fatih of Nicomedia in 2120, his eldest son Fatih II of Nicomedia was put on the throne. The young man died in 2124 without having accomplished much. He is succeeded by his sister - with whom he reputedly had a sexual affair - Empress Adalheidis the Pure of Nicomedia. In her 23 year reign, she twice defeated the attacking Caucasus Nations. Among her domestic policies was the improvement of electricity in the West, internet connections and free education until the age of 20. When Adalheidis died in 2147, she was succeeded by her daughter Gunda the Warrior Empress. Gunda, known for her brutality and remorseless war methods, fought against the Caucacus Nations and the neighboring nations in the Middle East. She effectively conquered great tracks of land, but also brought the Empire in a financial crisis. From 2156 to 2158, many suffered hunger in the poorer West, and the financial market plumbed. The Empress was nearly deposed in 2158, but died unexpectedly. She was therefor succeeded by her brother Wolfram III. Wolfram proved an excellent orator, and convinced his people of his isolationist policies. He restored the ties with the nations in the Middle East, and safeguarded economic treaties with the European Union. In the Empire, he spent great effort on housing projects. Wolfram the Third was murdered in Nicomedia by a Greek communist in the year 2190. The man had had many children. His eldest son and his second child and first daughter both refused the throne, though. His second daughter, Mary, then took the throne. The people of Nicomedia were rather anxious, for they didn't know her. She reigned with great caution, but yet realized a lot of good things in the urban areas of the Empire. She was known as a truthful, fragile and lovely woman. In the last year of her reign, she finalized the building of 15,000 houses in the Northwest. A loved empress, she faced a murder attempt in 2199, which she survived. Still, she abdicated in fear for her life and that of her children, who refused the throne. In 2199, an internal war for power would break loose, between those wanting to topple the Empire, and those fighting for its survival.
