The Oceana Dictionary Project (Slowneck Upset o'Narasha 'Oshenna, IPA: [ˈslounɛk ˈypsɛc nɑːrˈɦaʃɑ ʔɔoˈʃɛnɑ]) is a project started by the Narasha 'Oshenna Rát in order to preserve the Oceana language as well as possible. The main target is to make a record of the complete grammar and create a large list of Oceana words, so the language will be safe for future generations in Oceana. The project is financed by That Varen, De Limburger, Ye Olde Pub, the Wooden Hurbanovan Bank and Hurbanova Novine. In order to keep receiving this financial support, each year a few goals should be reached.

Goals for 2009[]

The goals that have to be reached for the year 2009 are:

  • Create a small English - Oshenna dictionary with about 500 words, see here.
  • Start the creation of a small grammar guide, see here.

Goals for 2010[]

The goals that have to be reached for the year 2010 are:

  • Expand the English - Oshenna dictionary to at least 1500 words.
  • Finish the grammar guide.
  • Start the creation of an Oshenna - English dictionary, see here.
