Oetry is the name of a series of poems, mostly by Oscar O'Neill, with every stanza or line starting with an 'O'. This poetic form is very rare and typical Lovian. The most famous poem in this genre is certainly O! Via, an ode to Lovia. The origins of this poetic form are situated in Oceana. The emoticon ":o"'s extreme popularity in Lovia has been proposed as arising from oetry itself or the mockery of it.

Oems[]

In his poem Lines Composed A Few Miles above the Abby, Yuri Medvedev opens his tirth stanza with an oetry-like line:

O Sylvanian wye! thou wanderer thro' the woods,
How often has my spirit turned to thee!
