The Pend Orielle Lake is a large body of water located in the highlands of Sylvania, more specifically on the grounds of the Anderson family's estate. It is a major tourist attraction, and the various recreational activities carried out there help to pay for the upkeep of the grounds. The lake is approximately 200 acres (almost one square kilometer) in size, and with a maximum depth of around 800 feet.

The lake's recreational activities serves as the main form of income for the Anderson family. Tourists are able to rent jet skis, runabouts, and other watercraft for as little as $15 an hour. Visitors are also allowed to bring their own watercraft for a small fee. Fishing is popular as well during the fall months as well.
