Shepby is a Lovian hamlet on Discovery Isle in the State of Sylvania, famed for its self-sustainable economy. The settlement lies on the south east coast of the island, on a stream.
The hamlet was founded in 1897 by Andrew Pool as his second expedition following the foundation of Pool. In 1905, Shepby was integrated into Sylvania, as part of the Declaration of the Founding of Lovian States.

The main corporations of Shepby are Shepbymedia, Cooper Enterprises and Shepby Farming Company.
Shepbymedia maintains offices, broadcasting stations and other buildings in the north of the hamlet. The company owns a wide range of reputable media businesses including the Newhaven Courier. It is among the most profitable media businesses throughout the country, however does not solely employ Shepbeians.
Cooper Enterprises maintains buildings in the north of the hamlet. As a conglomerate, it does not own a single type of business. It owns the local rugby league team, Shepby Sharks, the only sports club in the hamlet. It is owned by Michael Cooper, the current leader of the Shepbeian Party.
The Shepby Farming Company has its headquarters located in the hamlet, however does not own or operate any other building within the hamlet's limits. Despite this, it owns more land on Discovery Isle than any other person or business, most of which are just fields. It has no single owner - instead it is owned by independent farmers who affiliate their land with the company.
