Stephen Headland is a peninsula in the north of Peace Island. It is located near the border of Oceana and Sylvania. The area is home to a small village, Charleston. The peninsula is known for its pineapple plantations, which have been around since the 1890s. The park itself contains a wild pineapple field, which has grown naturally for many years. Along the western coast, the Western cliffs are found. These massive walls of white stone go almost straight down. A small portion of the cliffs has access to a beach. Going inlands, one will encounter the Coastal Heights and the Bonney River valley, named after naturalist Chester E. Bonney (1869-1923), who discovered it. Here one can find Lake Eisenhower (named after founding father George Eisenhower). This beautiful lake is lined with pines and other trees.

There are several hamlets which are surrounded partially or completely by the National Park, including Headland Lakes, Karlhaven and Steenveld.
